Fishing

Beach fishing at Bawley Point

You can catch sharks from the rocks, bream in the lakes or prawns during the full moon. There are too many spots to list them all but you'll find great spots around any of the beaches within walking distance from the Bungalows or within a short drive.

If you're up for a bit more of a hike the best spot could be between Merry Beach and Pretty Beach but it is only accessible on foot. The catch will be worth it though. More fishing information for the area can be found here and here.

Fishing licences, advice and bait can be obtained at Bawley, Kioloa and Termeil shops. You can also buy fishing licenses online or by calling 1300 369 365.

Wildlife & Hiking

We are located in a semi-bush setting and have an abundance of bird-life, lots of wallabies that feed around the bungalows, blue tongues, possums and bandicoots so we do ask that you leave your pets at home.

To the north of Bawley Point is Meroo National Park and just south is Pretty Beach and Murramarang National Park both locations offer some lovely walking tracks. Pigeon House Mountain and the Budawang Range are to the north west.

The National Parks all have many walking tracks that offer many opportunities for bird watching and photography.
